What this site collects
The site is static HTML. There is no account system, no login, no user database, and no comment system, so there is nothing here that collects information about you as you read.
Information reaches DNAccess in one way: you send it. That means an enquiry form, an email, or a booking for a domain review. What arrives is whatever you chose to put in it — typically a name, an email address, one or more domain names, and a description of what you want.
Like every web server, the host that serves this site keeps standard access logs: the requesting IP address, the time of the request, the URL requested, the referring page, and the browser's user-agent string. These are generated by the server software, are used for security and troubleshooting, and are not combined with anything you send.
What this site does not collect
It is worth being explicit, because most privacy policies are written to preserve room to manoeuvre. This site does not build a profile of you, does not attempt to identify you across other websites, does not buy information about visitors from anyone, and does not enrich an enquiry with data from a third-party source. There is no advertising on it, so there is nobody being sold access to your attention. Reading a page here leaves nothing behind beyond an entry in a server log.
The calculators run in your browser
Every calculator on this site — carrying cost, break-even sale price, the parked against developed against leased comparison, lease pricing, and portfolio triage — runs entirely as JavaScript inside your own browser. Nothing you type into them is transmitted anywhere. There is no server-side component, no API call, and no logging of inputs. The domain names, purchase prices, renewal figures and holding periods you enter never leave the machine you are sitting at, and they are gone when you close the tab. That is a deliberate design choice for this subject: the inputs to a domain calculation are commercially sensitive, and the simplest way to keep them private is to build a tool that has nowhere to send them.
The contact form composes an email in your own mail client
The enquiry form on the contact page does not transmit anything from the page. When you submit it, the form assembles what you have typed into a message and hands it to your own email program, pre-addressed and pre-filled. Nothing is sent until you press send yourself, in your own client, from your own account — and you can edit or abandon the message at that point. In practice this means the information travels the same way any email you write travels, and no copy of it exists on this website. If your device has no mail program configured, the address is printed on the page so you can write to it directly.
What is done with what you send
Enquiry details are used to reply to you and to carry out any work you go on to commission. They are not sold, rented, or traded, and they are not added to a marketing list unless you specifically ask to be added to one.
Domain names you send are treated as confidential. They are not published, not discussed publicly, and not used as examples anywhere without your written permission. In this industry that matters more than usual, and it is treated accordingly.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set advertising cookies and does not run cross-site tracking or advertising pixels. If a basic analytics tool is in use it will be disclosed here, and any cookie it sets is limited to measuring page visits in aggregate — how many people read a page, and which pages they arrived from — rather than following an individual around. Fonts are self-hosted rather than loaded from a third-party font service, so reading a page here does not make a request to another company's server on your behalf. Browsers can be set to refuse cookies, and nothing on this site stops working if you do.
Third parties
A small number of service providers necessarily see some of this information in the course of doing their job: the web host that serves the pages, the email provider that carries the correspondence, and — if you become a client — a payment processor that handles the transaction. Payment card details are handled by that processor and are never seen or stored by DNAccess.
How long things are kept
Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for a reasonable period in case you come back, then deleted. Project records, including the content, research, and files produced for a build, are kept for as long as they may be needed to support the work, meet a legal obligation, or handle a later question about the project. Server logs are retained on the host's normal schedule. Nothing is kept indefinitely as a matter of policy, and there is no archive of enquiries maintained for its own sake.
Security
Pages are served over an encrypted connection. Correspondence and project files are held on access-controlled systems. No system is perfectly secure and no one honest claims otherwise, which is a good reason not to send anything more sensitive than the description of a domain through a website form — registrar credentials, authorisation codes and account details should never be emailed to anybody, including us.
Your choices and how to make a request
You can ask what information is held about you, ask for a correction, or ask for it to be deleted. Send the request through the contact page, from the email address you originally wrote from where possible, and say which of the three you want. Requests are handled promptly and without a fee, other than where a record must be kept to meet a legal or accounting obligation, in which case you will be told which record and why. You can opt out of any correspondence at any time by saying so in a reply. Depending on where you live, local law may give you further rights than these; where it does, those rights are honoured.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and domain owners. It is not directed at children, and information is not knowingly collected from them.

Pages here link out to primary sources — search engine documentation, registries, industry publications, and company pricing pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies and their own tracking, this policy does not extend to them, and following a link means the destination site's practices apply rather than these.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means the current version applies.
